In the Milwaukee Airport, can you travel between terminals C & E without exiting security?
Flying out of C, member of airport club in E. Just wondering if I will be able to get to the club without having to exit and re-enter security before my flight.

Answer 1 :
When looking at the layout of Milwaukee's airport on Google Earth, if you switch between terminals it appears you will have to go through security. I do not see any other way around it unless they have some underground subway or passenger walkway to connect you between the terminals.

About how do I travel to Milwaukee via Singapore

How do I travel to Milwaukee via Singapore?
I checked with Singapore Airlines.. they do not offer flights there.. need some quick helpful answers.. thanks..

Answer 1 :
You will have to fly to whatever U.S. destination (L.A. perhaps) and transfer from there.
Answer 2 :
walk very fast...but dont run
Answer 3 :
It seems that people think there are direct non-stop flights from one U.S. city as small as Reno(Nevada) to a great Asian destination like Manila(Phillpipnes)... There was a question posted a few months ago about a direct flight from London's Heathrow to Charlotte(NC)[I think?], and there were a few answers that the asker didn't want to see, just something that made her happy(to her, there WERE direct flights to Charlotte from Heathrow(and no one was to argue w/ her otherwise!)... To make this an appropriate answer, I say this: The only way to get to Singapore from Milwaukee is MILW to DIA(Denver), then to LAX, then to Singapore...
Answer 4 :
Take United Airlines if you want few stops: UA 0896 Singapore - Chicago UA 7894 Chicago - Milwaukee
Answer 5 :
I recommend that you the alliances website such as Star Alliance, SkyTeam and OneWorld. These websites gives you all the possible scheduling option available through their partner airlines. For example, if you use Star Alliance, you'll have the following schedule. Leg 1 - Singapore Airlines 12 09:40 Singapore Changi (SIN) -17:05 Tokyo Narita (NRT) Flight time: 6h25m Leg 2 - United Airlines 882 17:55 Tokyo Narita (NRT) - 14:23 Chicago O'Hare IL (ORD) Flight time: 11h28m Leg 3 - United Airlines 6773 (United Express) 15:45 Chicago O'Hare IL (ORD) - 16:34 Milwaukee WI (MKE) Flight time: 0h49m Total duration: 20 hours and 54 min which is the shortest time between Singapore and Milwaukee. Also, if you think the transit time in Tokyo is a little short for you, you can choose another flight such as All Nippon Airways NH12 that leaves Singapore at 8:45 am. If you just want to fly on United Airlines all the way, you can fly the following: Leg 1 - United Airlines 896 06:55 Singapore Changi (SIN) - 10:30 Hong Kong (HKG) Flight Time: 3h35m Leg 2 - United Airlines 896 11:35 Hong Kong (HKG) - 11:44 Chicago O'Hare IL (ORD) Flight Time: 14h09m Leg 3 - United Airlines 7894 (United Express) 14:15 Chicago O'Hare IL (ORD) - 15:04 Milwaukee WI (MKE) Flight Time: 0h49m Total duration of 22 hours and 9 minutes. Anyway, it gives you many options and chose the best option for you and book it on the same website. If you use SkyTeam, you'll be flying Northwest Airlines all the way for a total time of 22 hours and 4 minutes. NW 006 Singapore (SIN) 06:00 AM Tokyo (NRT) 01:40 PM NW 020 Tokyo (NRT) 03:10 PM Minneapolis (MSP) 11:05 AM NW 791 Minneapolis (MSP) 01:00 PM Milwaukee (MKE) 02:04 PM OneWorld has the longest time with 25 hours and 10 minutes. 08:15 Singapore - 15:55 Tokyo (Japan Airlines) 19:15 Tokyo - 15:55 Chicago (American Airlines) 18:40 Chicago - 19:25 Milwaukee (American Eagle) Another option would be to fly non-stop to Los Angeles (SQ 38) or Newark (SQ 22) then fly out next day on Midwest Airlines direct to Milwaukee. There are no flight to Milwaukee after SQ flight arrives at either location. Good luck.
Answer 6 :
Take Midwest Milwaukee-Los Angeles and Singapore Airlines Los Angeles-Singapore. It's pretty easy Good luck

About why don't Minneapolis or Milwaukee have a section in Travel United States

Why don't Minneapolis or Milwaukee have a section in Travel United States?
The upper midwest is unrepresented, yet smaller cities like Cleveland, Cincinnati, St Louis and Kansas City are on the list. I'm from KC and I consider Minneapolis a much better city than KC with much more to do, I'm shocked it's not up there.

How do i travel from the milwaukee greyhound station to the marcus amphittheater? is a taxi my only option?
Is there a shuttle bus i can take there?
Chicago - 3 Answers

Answer 1 :
I believe that Milwaukee has a public bus service. Look that up on the web.
Answer 2 :
You could walk. It's about 1 mile. See below: http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=43.03385&lon=-87.90814&zoom=16&q1=433%20w%20St%20Paul%2C%20Milwaukee%2C%20wi&q2=200%20n%20Harbor%2C%20milwaukee%2C%20wi The MCTS (milwaukee transit system) has a site to find routes. They do not have a system to find a specific route or combination of routes or even a phone service to give you specific routes to a destination. You'll have to figure it out yourself. See below: http://www.ridemcts.com/routes_and_schedules/index.asp I would ask at the Greyhound station in Milwaukee.
Answer 3 :
I'm going to assume you're going to a concert at Summerfest. If that's the case, you don't have to take a cab. There is a shuttle bus the runs from downtown Milwaukee (where the bus station is located). When you get off the bus, walk three blocks west to Wisconsin ave. The shuttle bus run along Wisconsin Ave east to the Summerfest North Gate. It's runs until 12:30 a.m. and it cost $3 roundtrip for adults (http://mobile.summerfest.com/index.cfm?EFA=ntkGeneral). Also, you might want to look into riding Megabus to get to Milwaukee. It leaves from the Amtrak station in downtown Chicgo and costs TEN BUCKS roundtrip. It lets you off at the Amtrak station in downtown Milwaukee which is also where the Greyhound bus station is located. If you're NOT going to the Marcus Ampitheater for Summerfest, then you still can walk to Wisconsin Ave. and take a bus to the grounds. I've been there before and rode the bus to the grounds and to the Brewers ballpark as well.

About what's the cheapest way to travel from Milwaukee WI to Greenville SC (and back)

What's the cheapest way to travel from Milwaukee WI to Greenville SC (and back)?
My girlfriend that I've never met before wants to visit me. We've been aiming for her to arrive on December 28th, and for her to stay a couple days until Dec 30th. She even has the reservation set up at the hotel she wants to stay at. The problem is the travel cost. She was planning to drive, but the way things are looking, gas prices are very expensive, and we were wondering if there was any cheaper way. It would really suck for us to not be able to afford this trip; we've been planning it for over a year. (But not planning very well, apparently...) Anyway, any advice would really be appreciated. Everything is just so expensive nowadays... Not including the price of the hotel, we really only have like $200 to spend on this trip for travel costs. =( Please help! The reservation is not set in stone. She can cancel it if it would be cheaper another time. That would add 160 to our total but then we'd need to get a different reservation. Also, I could go visit her, as well. We're both 24 We don't need parental consent. I have a job, she doesn't. My job doesn't pay well. And I never said she wasn't helping with the expenses...the $200 (and $160 for the hotel) is including her help. We're both paying about half for it actually.

Answer 1 :
Go Greyhound
Answer 2 :
dude, you may as well start walking now. even a greyhound bus ticket or driving would be more expensive. you cant even afford a one way ticket. do you have a job? are you old enough for this trip you want to take without parental consent? this is strange to only have $200 in your pocket and want to waste it to meet someone who wont help with the expenses.
Answer 3 :
I see airfares around $170 round trip around your travel dates IF you could use Charlotte and Chicago airports instead.

Answer 1 :
according to google maps, it will take between 1 hour and 48 minutes and 2 hours and 10 minutes [depending on traffic]. I don't believe there is any weekend morning rush hour, so i'd guess on the lower side of that range. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=milwaukee+wi+to+chicago+il&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=27.643082,53.4375&ie=UTF8&z=8
Answer 2 :
1 hr 47 mins
Answer 3 :
Depending on where in Chicago, and where you are going to park there, I would give yourself more than two hours
Answer 4 :
It won't be too busy on Saturday or Sunday, but the freeways into Chicago (90/94, which you'd be using) can back up suddenly anyway. I'd budget two hours, but if you're lucky, you'll do it in an a little over an hour and a half.
Answer 5 :
If you plan to party in the City, order a car service such as http://www.stretchlimochicago.com/wisconsin-specials/Milwaukee.htm Normally, it's about 2 hour drive. With today's weather up to 4 :(.
Answer 6 :
Depending on how fast you drive. I always allow an hour and a half to make room for any traffic delay that may happen. Sunday is usually a pretty good travel day and at that time you should be fine. I have found that it is always faster to go from Chicago to Milwaukee than Milwaukee to Chicago.
Answer 7 :
The early morning on the weekend is usually pretty smooth sailing. I would leave by 7 AM and you should be golden.

Answer 1 :
Get on I-794 W toward I-43/I-94 travel that for 0.7 miles; then merge on I-94 W via Exit 1A toward MADISON and travel that for 163.0 miles. Then merge onto I-90 W via the exit on the LEFT toward TOMAH/ LA CROSSE and travel that 41.9 miles. Then merge onto US-53 S/ WI-35 S via EXIT 3 toward LA CROSSE. Its all on mapquest.com!!!
Answer 2 :
Why don't you try to see if there is a train route?
Answer 3 :
I know Badger Bus can get you from Milwaukee to Madison. Greyhound might not be that sketchy from Madison to LaCrosse. Or go via Amtrak. Or, honestly, I'd just rent an economy car from Enterprise. Book online, and they'll hold to the cheaper price.

Easiest & Cheapest way to travel from Milwaukee, WI to Chicago, IL?

Answer 1 :
Bus
Answer 2 :
Hitch hike
Answer 3 :
amtrak, $22.00 each way, takes about 1 and 1/2 hrs and is comfortable. I recommend it highly. amtrak.com
Answer 4 :
Jeni, I would suggest these economical ways to get from Milwaukee to Chicago. Amtrak's Hiawatha service has seven trains daily from both Downtown Milwaukee and Mitchell Airport to Union Station in Downtown Chicago. The trip takes about 90 minutes. The fare is $22 each way. You can check the schedule and rates at www.amtrak.com . You can also take MegaBus, a point to point bus service that has seats as low as $1 (yep that's right a buck!). With most seats around $9 each way. It's about a 2 hour drive from the Milwaukee Amtrak Station to Union Station in Downtown Chicago. While the routing takes two hours I think these buses are often late (get stuck in Chicago traffic), You can get more information at www.megabus.com Enjoy the Concert and your visit to Chicago!
Answer 5 :
Amtrak or bus.
Answer 6 :
Walk

It is rare for anything dangerous to happen on a bus. Consider that a bus is equipped with a radio and is a crowd of people. Now compare that to walking through an empty parking lot.

I want to travel to Jacksonville on July 14. I am just anxious to get away for a few days traveling by bus. Is it possible to travel back a different route but still ending up in Milwaukee. Route already goes through Atlanta and Tennessee. Would like to maybe come back through new York or some other eastern or southern route.
